Here we talk about parenting. Being a parent is a hard thing. Taking care of children is hard and some tips will be posted here. Parenting is a process of supporting a child you have in all ways; financially, phisically, emotionally, socially,... This is therefore made for parents. It is very important to teach a child good values and nice habits early in their lives. In this way they will be deep-rooted into them, making them prepared for an outside world. Nice habits are dying off in todays society and we have to prevent this. We can do this by teaching our kids to live a better life. A life where they will respect and support each other in the community. Such a life is much better than a life of hatred and missunderstanding. It really starts at an early age. That does not mean that if the kid is too old, it should no longer be taught about good habits. The contrary - then it is just more important. This is why we made Camp GoNoodle. Here we educate young kids with games and other entertaining activities how to be nice and behave well in todays culture. Therefore this camp is a great destination.
But let us talk a bit about parenting. There are several ways of parenting.
One is authoritative parenting. There parents rely on positive reinforcement and infrequent use of punishment. This style can be very beneficial, but as with every style, if only this one is used, that might be a problem, since too high reliance on a signe style is not good.
The other one is authoritarian parenting styles. This is the complete opposite of authoritative parenting since it is very rigid and strickt. When a child breaks a rule, there is usually a punishment following such inobedience. According to some sources (among with Wikipedia), less cheerful, more moody and more vulnerable to stress.
Then there is permissive parenting. That is when child's freedom and autonomy are highly valued. Parents do not punish much, but just explain and reason with kids.
Uninvolved parenting is the last one. This one is not so good, because in this case parents are often absent from children and do not respond to children's needs.
